Oh, Lovelies! Oui, c’est moi. Thanks for all your concern after my last post expressed by post comments, emails, on Facebook and tweets. You're a sterling lot! I'm finally back to briefly announce the winners of my giveaway – what you’ve all been waiting for since Friday night, I expect. Okay, without further ado, let’s get this show on the road! Once the pixies were all assembled in Miss India’s room this afternoon, the Ceremonial Planet Baby Gumboot was presented to them, filled with triple-checked crumpled entries. Miss India had first dibs.
Isn’t she a picture, dressed in my smocked frock made by my Nanny nearly 40 years ago? But I digress. There was important business to be conducted.
After much intent rummaging, the Grand Winner was announced. Drum roll, please!
Ta da! Nellbe/Janelle of Nellbe’s Gluten Free Kitchen is the lucky winner of all this loot.
Congratulations, Janelle! She is a relatively new Planetarian who writes enthusiastically about gluten-free life.
And then, in true Planet Baby style, we drew second and third places. Sam drew second place. Most enthusiastically, I must say.
But as is his wont, he couldn’t stop wriggling to allow me the split millisecond to photograph the lucky Planetarian. He vanished and Miss India deputised as follows.
Woo hoo! Deb at Home Life Simplified, come on down. Deb is also a newly minted Planetarian who is a recovering perfectionist like me. This is what you won, Deb.
Some more sublime stationery – quelle surprise!
Then, just to keep it real in true Planet Baby style, after a particular meltdown of a certain pixie, we repaired to the boys’ room to draw third place. Joshie did the honours. Hmm, concentrating hard…
And third place goes to…
Wendy! I am particularly tickled about this result. Wendy doesn’t have a blog but her lovely daughter, Kate, does at A Fountain of Mirth about her life as an Australian expat, married to a Frenchman and living in Tokyo. Wendy saw I was following Kate’s blog and signed up to become a Planetarian. You win the same goodies as Deb, Wendy.
Please email me your contact details, ladies, and I’ll whisk them off to the Post Office tomorrow. Thankyou to everyone who entered. And that, my friends, is a wrap! Tomorrow I’ll post about Joshie’s 6th birthday party. See you then!
Oh your pixies are adorable Jane... and such wonderful assistants to boot!

ReplyDeleteYes, my heartiest congratulations to Janelle, Deb and Wendy - I'm off to email you now. And thanks for the grace shown by your fellow Planetarians here - it warms my heart.
And @Deb, The Ceremonial Gumboot was chosen after an executive decision by A Certain Mother to avoid dispute as to whose gumboot would be chosen!
