Through the looking glass

Found here
I feel like Alice stepping through the portal into another world. I'm slipping away from Planet Baby (PB) where I have resided for the past five or so years and into another realm where I can meet like-minded souls. The kind of people who have lived wholeheartedly, loved passionately and travelled the world in all its glory. The people who love their children fiercely and adore the ground they walk on yet also want to retain a sense of self.  Just this week, I have discovered the blogosphere and been entranced and captivated by the countless people sharing their lives.

It's a world removed from PB where I live with my husband, Mr PB, and the three pixies who light up our lives, Joshua (4), India (2) and Samuel (1). I love the world I inhabit at this precious time in their lives. I am constantly surprised at how quickly the 'baby years' seem to be whizzing past, that is, when I ever have a spare moment to contemplate such things. Life with three children under five is constantly absorbing, busy and full.

However, I always have the nagging worry that I'm not recording this time enough and that once they're older, I'll have forgotten those tiny details that just make my day. So I hope this blog can help me do that in some small way and maybe make you smile. I look forward to sharing with you my life on PB.

  3. Thank you for redirecting me to this precious place in your May 2011 blog.
I'm so very pleased that like Alice, you ventured down the rabbit hole of blogging and have in the process shared a vast array of treasures - you being the most glittering!

Biggest of hugs to you dear friend and here's to many more years of PB - I wonder how it will morph when Sam is no longer a true baby - now there's a thought!

    xx Felicity
