Just the briefest of posts tonight, lovely Planetarians. It's been a long (Mr PB and I fell into bed at 2 am after the Great Wrapping) and full day on Planet Baby, spent with my complete immediate family including 5 grandchildren under 6. Just delightful but now I'm spent.
Here's a little message from the pixies and their gumboot friends - I hope you're all enjoying a peaceful and blessed Christmas with your dear ones. And now to bed!
And to you, and Mr PB and the dear pixies Jane. My, those pixies have such delightful handwriting!
ReplyDeleteOh my that message is a sweet one, love it:) I hope you get some much needed rest tonight, I need to head to bed soon too. Merry Christmas to you, Mr PB and your sweet pixies. xo
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!
ReplyDeleteSweet dreams, XO L
Same to you Jane.
ReplyDeleteOur youngest fell asleep at four o'clock yesterday afternoon, and slept right through. It's an exhausting time for everyone, but wonderful in the same breath.
Compliments of the season to you and yours.
Fiona.
I'm glad you had a lovely day. Merry Christmasx x
ReplyDeleteI love that picture. Merry christmas to you, your Mr & those sweet pixies!

I have just been catching up on all the creativity over at Planet Baby. You guys have been very busy. Hope Santa spoilt you all. He spoilt us and we are loving a restful boxing day.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Jane & family, you novice, you start wrapping in October, it takes forever, especially if you have to plan it when the children aren't around & you're a stay at home mother!! You'll learn. You're not a real parent unless you've been up past midnight putting a blow up pool or bikes or a cubby house or something-which-you're-missing-a-vital-part-for on Christmas Eve!! Tee hee. Loving your blog this year, love Posie
ReplyDeleteHappy and merry and fabulous wishes to you and your gang Ms Jane!
ReplyDeleteps. Are you still in gumboots in Tassie??
So sweet Jane! I remember doing the same one Christmas morning when the kids received a chalkboard just like that. Santa left a message for them :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have had a wonderful holiday and are putting your feet up :)

Merry Christmas Jane and family and thank you for your lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask why there are four pairs of gumboots, when you only have three children?
Thanks, everyone. I'm so pleased you're all enjoying yourselves.
ReplyDeleteEr, yes, Jennie, note to self: start wrapping earlier next year.
Thanks, Kate. Gumboots are always at the ready in Hobart where we can have four seasons in one day (and often do!).
Jeanne, I am only just starting to exhale now. I'm just realising how much the year has taken out of me.
Why, thanks, Kat, my fellow Hobartian ☺. Good question there. Joshie and India grew out of the smaller ones and then upgraded, hence the four pairs. Now that Sammy's walking, the old ones will have to make way for some for him! J x
Ahh ... the great christmas wrap!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have had a wonderful couple of days, full of laughter and fun. I look forward to reading your blog in the new year - Merry Christmas!!
merry christmas and hope you're having a nice holiday:)
